This is the night they came in a little microwaveable plastic box with holes in it. The first thing they did when they were put into the Nike dunks shoe box was to stand up straight and walk around upright at the same time (probably to stretch). Super duper cute i tell you. Too bad i didn't have a camera prepared. They were born in an NUS hostel and were kindly given to me by xianjie (The twin's acjc classmate). They were about 5cm long. Apparently born somewhere in october... not sure what date. Breed: winter whites. Apparently they change their fur colour if you bring them to a cold country but I never got to try that =\

They loved to fight a lot and pushed each other off the food, wheel and cage door, and they were horrendously noisy at night. I think it was some sort of love-hate relationship between them cos they still squished their fat bodies together in a small corner when they slept. White hammy got really fat cos he always manages to steal brown hammy's food. Brown hammy also had this rather strange habit of sleeping on the top part of the wheel (He wedged himself into the space in between the cage and the wheel and stuck his legs out) And when u tickle his feet he kind of wakes up and falls off. You can see that his tumor was already growing rather big by then. We did bring him to the vet to get medicine, but the operation would be too risky. Back then, Brown hammy was the one favoured by everyone, cos he was the friendlier and the more docile of the two. White hammy was rather aloof and would nip and resist carrying. But when it came to hand feeding, he'd respond quickly.
