I bade farewell to hall 2. I don't think I'll return anytime soon cos there really isn't a reason to pass by that area anymore. (unless i'm REALLY craving can2 food. haha. very likely that would happen.)
Anyway, it's been great, the ups and downs I experienced with hall life, most of the more significant memories in year 1. It quietened down during year 2 with different toilet mates and most of us going about our own lives wihtout bothering to keep in touch. I really havent mentioned it yet, but thanks to all these people for making my hall life so much more interesting, even if it was only for such a short year. (i don't know if these people would see my blog but it really doesnt matter. good if they do)

Sop (the best roomie ever:) putting up with all my crapshits and making my hall life so much less lonely with random girly chit chat, the twins (who werent spared either and were always around during my numerous ups and downs), yeong min and jessica (friendly neighbours who came over to chat), jingru, the bens, tim, cheryl tay and other hall peeps ( sorry. names dont quite come to mind at 3am in the morning)
late night movies, suppers, hall trip, clubbing, cooking in the room, talking, staying up all night, jogging, bridge, playing with my hammies, sleeping at 4am, marathon mugging till 7am, chrno, various guys =|, cooking in the smelly pantry, bitching about weeeeird guys, meeting boyfriend, stayingwith boyfriend in hall, late night gaming, making him eat my smelly cooking, cleaning up and getting sick from a horrendously dusty room, staying in school to study for exams.
oh well. it ended too quickly if ya ask me. but it was good fun while it lasted.

hm. will keep waiting for any news from hall 2 if anyone moves out. I'll get back in. Life at ntu will never be the same without hall. :( I am so not looking forward to public transport. PUI. unlike most people i'm still hoping to pass that awful AWFUL driving test. till then its byebye convenient hall and hello smelly crowded sbs buses.

i had some good tze cha at taman jurong's multistorey food centre. level 3-0166 i think. Their kangkong, claypot tofu and prawn paste chicken is satisfying. And 4 of us got full on 3 plates of rice plus those dishes, though I'd be fine with 2 plates. (felt that I still ate quite a bit) didn't manage to get a photo in though.

my gosh. I do need a bigger bigger room.
I don't know how it will be when school term starts. My sisters notes plus mine... the rooom's going to be terribly saturated. We have so many clothes now its chaotic. and now our underwear collections grew so big tha t we couldnt close the cupboard (not that i'm complaining=p MOARRRRREEEE FOORR MEEE) Therefore we have relocated stuff to my dad's bare cupboard (he has like... 1/4 the amount of clothes we have?) I like the whole minimalist thing, but all these things around are essential. gah. cannnot wait for garage sale. yeap. my aunty's holding a huge garage sale in july. Anyone's free to come by and check out GOOOD quality second hand goodies. Stuff on sale? ANything that one could find in a house.

Today was a rather productive day:) I made some good jap food. (my sister and mummy both approve) Ramen and Chawanmushi. I was pretty worried cos it was my first attempt. HAHA. omg my dad just called it calamari. lol. he's the same guy who called my hamster "mouse" and referred to us as "he" instead of "she".

Anyway here are the pics...
There is also one of the random donuts that I had bitten into upon getting them at the Donut Factory (Raffles City Shopping Centre B1) White chocolate strawberry heart. Absolutely gorgeous. and it tastes as good as it looks (before I sunk my teeth into it)

That's the ramen. The broccoli, carrot and taukwa are not exactly your standard ingredients but I thought it would be nice and colourful. And my dad had already cooked those so I threw them in.
Chawanmushi. I put naruto, crabstick, shiitake and carrot inside. Naruto is that japanese fishcake thingy. Its got the pink swirly stuff in the middle:) My first one came out full of bubbles but this one was the best of the batch. firm and almost bubble free. And it was a success too.

YUM. I love white chocolate and strawberry. One of the more lethal combinations.
